Ferat Tiriqi lives with his family in Vučitrn. At the beginning of April 1999, his wife and younger children fled from Kosovo. Ferat stayed in his family house together with his sons Murat (24 years old) and Serhat (22). On 22 May 1999, members of the Serbian forces forced them from their home and separated Murat and Serhat from their father in the street. It was the last time that Ferat saw his sons alive. In 2002 their bodies were found in the mass grave in Batajnica.
